ORIEL SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH CATHAY PACIFIC FOR ONLINE PAYMENT BUSINESS
IN PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA (PRC)

Melbourne, Australia, 22 November 2006: The Directors of Oriel Communications Limited (“Oriel”) announces the signing of an Agreement between Oriel’s Chinese subsidiary, BilltoBill, and Cathay Pacific Airways. The agreement applies to both Cathay Pacific Airways (CX), named Airline of the Year 2006 in its 60th anniversary year, and Dragonair (KA), a leading regional carrier and a wholly owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific.

BilltoBill will provide its payment processing solution for Cathay Pacific and Dragonair mainland China travellers, using proprietary debit cards, credit cards and bank transfers in RMB, and cell phone authenticated and telephone payments. BilltoBill will support both airlines from its offices in mainland China. The BilltoBill payment solution has been directly integrated with Cathay Pacific’s in-house reservation system and is to be integrated with ‘Amadeus’ which Dragonair deploys as its airline reservations solution. Transaction processing for Cathay Pacific is expected to commence in December 2006.
The Agreement with Cathay Pacific is a major step forward for Oriel in securing contracts with international merchants in the travel sector.
