BilltoBill在中国推出新的服务模式 |
BilltoBill China introduces a new service in the business-to-business segment: the “BizztoBizz
Accelerator”;
BilltoBill China is in discussions with the first potential customers to pilot this new service in their
supply chain.
Melbourne, Australia, August 22, 2006 – BilltoBill Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian online
payments solutions provider, Oriel Communications Limited (ASX: OCO), has launched its first new
product line in addition to the existing business-to-consumer BilltoBill payment gateway.
The new service, the “BizztoBizz Accelerator”, will improve the cash flow of wholesalers and OEM’s
(Original Equipment Manufacturer) when distributing their products predominantly via resellers in the
business-to-business segment. The product also will automate the current B2B manual operation, which will
improve the accuracy of payment transactions handled manually by merchants and their resellers, the
accuracy of matching the receivables with the invoices and reduce labour cost for both merchants and their
resellers, thus improving their business bottom line result.
In China, most transactions with consumers are conducted through intermediaries, i.e. resellers with an outlet
in local cities and villages. This is especially true in the computers, electronics and consumer goods industries,
the latter consisting of white goods (large kitchen and domestic appliances) and brown goods (household
appliances). The resellers require quick and efficient deliveries from their wholesalers and OEM’s. Resellers
generally pay in advance after placing their orders however deliveries quite often arrive late, caused by the
supplier struggling to match payments to orders.
The new service will increase the efficiency in the merchant’s supply chain and resellers will experience a
quicker delivery and higher customer satisfaction.
Yang Lei, COO BilltoBill stated: “This product is a real breakthrough in the business to business segment
and has created a second fundamental product line in the area of payment processing. We have applied our
knowledge and expertise of the fragmented banking environment in China in the business to business
segment where there is a phenomenal opportunity for turnover and efficiency improvements. I congratulate
our team in China with spotting this niche and completing development of the product within a limited time
frame.
The “BizztoBizz Accelerator” is aimed at all suppliers in China who predominantly distribute through
resellers, regardless of whether they also deploy direct distribution through the web. BilltoBill has designed
the service to interface with ERP systems, such as SAP and others. Given turnover from distribution via
resellers is a multiple of direct distribution, especially in China, and the potential cost savings and increased
customer satisfaction are evident, BilltoBill expects substantial revenues from this new product”, he said.
BilltoBill China is in discussion with prospective clients to initially pilot the “BizztoBizz Accelarator” service,
and will advise the market when the product has been successfully integrated for use.
