ORIEL SIGNS FIRST ONLINE PAYMENT SERVICES CONTRACT WITH CHINESE TRAVEL AGENCY

¡¡¡¡Melbourne, Australia, August 8, 2006 ¨C BilltoBill Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of
Australian online payments solutions provider, Oriel Communications Limited (ASX: OCO) has
entered into an agreement to supply payment services to Guilin Brilliant Pearl Comfort Int'l
Travel Service Co. Ltd (GPITS), a major national travel agency network in China.
¡¡¡¡GPITS (Chinese website: www.glcct.cn or English website: www.discoverchinatours.com) will
use the BilltoBill online payment service to sell travel products to Chinese and non-Chinese for
their travel arrangements in China.
¡¡¡¡BilltoBill will provide exclusive payment services to GPITS for Chinese debit/credit card, as well
as visa and mastercard.
¡¡¡¡Oriel¡¯s COO, Mr Yang Lei, said: ¡°This is another step in our strategic efforts to service the travel
market in China. This comes on the back of our success in signing with Singapore Airlines for
travel into China and China Southern Airlines for their international travel business, and we
anticipate these agreements will raise our profile in this market when targeting other prospective
merchants across China.¡±
¡¡¡¡Potential revenues from the GPITS arrangement cannot be determined at this time, however
BilltoBill Limited will disclose transaction volume performance once a sufficient period of
processing has taken place via the BilltoBill payment service, and ultimately a prediction of
future earnings.
¡¡¡¡Testing and integration of the BilltoBill payment system with Sonopress has been completed
and BilltoBill will commence processing transactions when advised by GPITS.
